In stitches. (Shana shopping for material for costumes. Open to anyone)
There was something about the fabric store (all fabric stores) that always calmed Shana. Perhaps it was the distant memories she had of shopping with mother. She learned sewing from her mother and later Jacqui Benton had helped her fine tune her sewing and encouraged her to design her own outfits.

Designing outfits had been relatively easy, but finding the fabrics to match what she had in mind wasn't. But she had been lucky so far in finding the right fabric for Kimber's costume, hopefully she'd be as lucky in finding right materials for the other costumes.

As a rule Shana always made Jem's costume last. That way if she run out of time Synergy could project the finished costume over Jem. Also there were times when she had finished Jem's costume and Jem had Synergy project the costume over her since she had to be there was Jerrica as well. And then there were time when Synergy projected Jerrica's normal clothes over her.

Shana sighed and shook her head as made her way over to the lame section looking for just the right color.

Jerrica hadn't actually been planning on doing anything today. It was suppose to have been her "day off", as if the owner of Starlight Music ever truly saw such a day, but after traveling around the downtown area and catching sight of Shana slowly working through the various fabric shops in town, Jerrica knew that she'd much rather spend what little free time she had with her band mates then attempting to go over set lists for the upcoming hologram Halloween benefit or whatever else work related might catch her eye regardless of it being her non working day.

After parking the roadster nearest to the last shop that Shana had entered, Jerrica made her way after her hoping that she wasn't about to intrude on what might have been some personal time. However as Jerrica scanned the store for where Shana might have disappeared, she finally caught sight of what might as well have been considered adopted sister by this point in their lives, as well as the large stash of fabrics she was collecting. Making her way over to Shana, Jerrica chuckled softly before reaching out and catching a few of the swatches that had begun to topple off from the top of the growing pile.

"Need a hand Shana, or maybe two?" Jerrica offered with a grin before taking a few more from the designer's pile.

Shana smiled at the sight of her dear (if not best )friend.
"Yes I could," She said with a small laugh. "And your opinion too! What do you think of this color for Aja costume?" She asked showing her a Midnight Green swatch. "I'm not sure if I should go with something a bit lighter? I was even thinking about maybe making her costume aqua blue."

The smile that found it's way onto Jerrica's lips was indeed a true genuine smile, not at all forced in any way. If anything the blonde was just pleased that Shana didn't mind the sudden intrusion. Directing her gaze over to the fabric swatches in hand, Jerrica regarded the midnight green swatch that she was holding out for a moment. While she wasn't exactly the most qualified person to give advice on what colors would look best on Aja, Jerrica supposed that the green color might be a nice change from the usual blue scheme that she'd become so accustom too. "I'd use the green Shana. It'll give Aja something than blue to hang in her closet."

At Jerrica's last comment Shana let out a giggle.
"That is so true!" She said laughing more. "And what's worse we all seem to do that. Wear clothes that match our hair color. Except for you Jerrica. You know what?"
"What?" Jerrica asked giggling a little as well.
"I was going to make Jem's costume all pink. Even the fur, but I think I'll make it in a different color. It's Halloween after all!.

Now that Shana mentioned it, while there was a large variety of pink in her closet, it wasn't a color she wore as Jem a lot. In fact if anything she much preferred to wear darker colors like blues and purple as Jem as opposed to pink. "Now that you mention that, I never really noticed." She chuckled along with Shana before holding a little tighter to the armload of fabric she'd taken from Shana's still growing pile. "As long as I'm not a witch again this year I'll wear pretty much anything."

"What do say to red sequins?" Shana asked her excitedly as inspiration come rushing to her."With the way the dress is going to be designed it would really give it an edge.

"Red sequins hmmm." Jerrica pondered over the prospect of what Shana might be crafting but in the end she couldn't stop Shana's excitement from infecting her as well. Jerrica always loved the designs that Shana thought up and created. Every time they had new outfits, it was like Christmas. "I think it'll be totally outrageous as always."

Shana smiled, one of the things she loved about Jerrica was her none diva attitude. She always let Shana design what ever she wanted and never had a curl word to say about any of her designs.
"When I'm done making this dress Jem is going to like one red-hot smoking wolf!" Shana told her.
